CYBER PUNK IS 2077 PREVIOUS AND NEXT GEN CONSOLE COMPATIBLE

According to the developer, Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification. You play as "V," a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality.


CD Projeckt has confirmed Cyber Punk 2077 to be compatible with both next generation and previous consoles. This means your PS4 copy of the game will work on PS5.

Additionally, anyone who buys the game on Xbox One will be able to play their copy on Xbox Series X when the console launches.

CD Projeckt has also promised that sometime in the future, an upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077 will be released, which will be beta version of what was previously seen. Additionally stating that it will take full advantage of the next-gen hardware. The good news is both of these options apply to owners of physical and digital copies of the game, and will be available for free. 

 The Cyberpunk 2077 release date has been pushed back again and this is very frustrating as it is a recurring act, nevertheless a new release date has been published September 17, 2020. Nevertheless CD Projeckt Red has claims that the game is technically complete but will need more time to do a lot of retouching to get the best experience.

 “We need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs,” the developer added. “A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that.”
